Since you can choose whether the spam should be erased momentarily or re-sent to a separate mailbox, you can create spam@domain.com, for example, and view all filtered emails there, so as to ensure that you will not miss a message that you require. The email messages that the anti-spam filter allows to go through will still be delivered to your mailbox.
